Summer Jobs Program

Did you know DanversCARES runs a Summer Jobs Program?

Thank you to a community grant from MassHire called F1rst Jobs, we are able to hire Danvers youth to work with our wonderful community partners.

  • Danvers Community Access Television
  • Danvers Recreation Department – Falcons Fun Camp Counselor
  • Danvers YMCA – Summer Camp Counselor at YMCA Adventure Camp
  • Northeast Arc

We are always looking to grow our list of available jobs for students to gain practical experience in their area of interest. If you are a publicly funded office in Danvers and you are interested in hosting our youth this summer, please reach out to Whitney McNeilly, mcneilly@danvers.org

In addition to all of their work on site, youth attend career readiness seminars hosted by the North Shore Youth Career Center, where they learn skills such as how to create a resume, interview skills and how to meet professional expectations. These important skills match with the work and leadership experience in their summer jobs and prepare our youth to take on more and more challenges as they reach adulthood.

DanversCARES is so proud of our summer job program participants each year, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for next summer!
