The 2nd Annual Danvers Unified Basketball Game & Community Inclusion Rally, held on Tuesday, October 6, was a huge success!DanversCARES was proud to be part of this special evening and host a table alongside other community partners supporting Danvers youth and families. The event brought together students, families, staff, and community members to celebrate inclusion, belonging, and our student-athletes.
A big thank you to Danvers SEPAC for organizing such a meaningful event. We are grateful to be part of a community that continues to show up for one another.
The Danvers Accessibility Commission invites you to it's first Human Library on Saturday, Oct. 17!This is free event open to everyone on Saturday, October 17, from 10:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. at the Danvers Senior Center, 25 Stone Street. Attendees, or “readers,” can choose from a variety of volunteer “books” - people who represent different lived experiences - and engage in a 30-minute conversation where they can ask questions, listen, and learn. The Human Library offers a welcoming opportunity to connect with others, better understand different experiences, and build a more inclusive community.
