DanversCARES is a program of the Town of Danvers, sponsored by the Danvers Public Schools. Our mission is to assist youth and families in making healthy decisions; to reduce youth substance use; and to ensure the future of a safe and healthy community.

DanversCARES is funded by the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) Drug Free Communities Support Program, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Bureau of Substance Abuse Services (MDPH BSAS) under subcontract with the City of Peabody for the Massachusetts Substance Abuse Prevention Collaborative (SAPC) grant and the City of Gloucester for the Massachusetts Opioid Prevention Collaborative (MOAPC) grant, the Comprehensive Addiction Recovery Act (CARA) grant from DPH and the Danvers Public Schools.
